Our Mission:

NorthStar's mission is to empower people in mental health recovery to thrive personally, in the community and in the workplace. 

Promoting Recovery:

NorthStar is a mental health recovery program for adults living in the Portland metro area who live with mental health issues. Spearheaded by NAMI Multnomah, NorthStar is based on the International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD) model of psychiatric rehabilitation. NorthStar provides people living with the effects of mental health issues an evidence-based approach to obtain meaningful structure, social and vocational skills and employment and educational services.

Monday - Closed
Tuesday - 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Wednesday - 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Thursday - 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Friday - 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Saturday - 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Sunday - Closed

Values Statement:

NorthStar Clubhouse is a safe and welcoming environment where members participate in a peer-run community promoting well-being, recovery, confidence and independence.  NorthStar offers a place filled with care and acceptance in which members can take strength-building action.  Our clubhouse invites members to become active and to confront fear and illness-based challenges.  We empower members to be resilient in the face of mental health problems and capable in the face of incapacity.  We urge our members to utilize their personal talents to contribute to the community in a variety of ways, including volunteering and employment.  NorthStar Clubhouse offers member opportunities for personal development, acheivement, friendship, respect and hope for a brighter future.
